Join Patrick Radden Keefe, renowned author of Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty, as he examines the history of the Sackler Family, their role in the opioid epidemic, and how regulatory failures contributed to this crisis.
Hosted by the Master in Law Program at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, this lecture is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Ronald S. Litman, a 2018 graduate of the Master in Law Program.
The lecture will take place in Fitts Auditorium at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, 3501 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, at 5:00 PM on March 31, 2022, beginning with a dedication to Dr. Litman and concluding with a brief Q&A and book signing.
