“Anesthetic agent choice can significantly alter ABR interpretability. For ABR testing, propofol seems to be a preferable anesthetic choice compared to sevoflurane. Moreover, our results challenge the previously accepted notion that ABRs are very resistant to inhaled anesthetic agents such as sevoflurane”.
