Abraham Verghese, bestselling author, Stanford professor, and infectious disease doctor, delivers the commencement address at Harvard’s 374th Commencement on May 29, 2025

The 2025 Commencement Address at the University of Vermont was given by James M. Betts, a member of UVM’s Class of 1969 and a 1973 graduate of what is now the UVM Larner College of Medicine. Betts, a native of Bennington, Vt., is a pediatric surgeon in Oakland, Calif., a volunteer firefighter, and a former U.S. Olympic Team physician.

Thomas Louis Magliozzi (June 28, 1937 – November 3, 2014) and his brother Raymond Francis Magliozzi (born March 30, 1949) were the co-hosts of NPR's weekly radio show Car Talk, where they were known as "Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers". Their show was honored with a Peabody Award in 1992,
