Meet Nancy Finnel

We have approximately 25 members on the PAAD’s executive council who serve as our writers, reviewers, and editors. I thought it was high time that I introduce them to you and have asked them to submit a head shot photo and short bio. Today I’m introducing Nancy Finnel who is a medical writer and has become an unofficial member of our team. On a daily basis, she scours the literature and finds articles for us to review . I have more than 30 years' experience in medical publishing, continuing medical education, medical education, and medical promotions as a program/content developer; writer; editor; publications manager; publications director--all for professional venues, one of which was in anesthesiology and another of which was in critical care; other specialties have included orthopedics, ob/gyn, pharmacy. I have worked with many of the key opinion leaders. I "created" what were considered peer review publications and created medicolegal features for several professional publications. I am currently keeping key opinion leaders and doctors "in the trenches" in anesthesiology, cardiology, pharmacy, medicolegal/bioethics current with the literature and forwarding suggestions pertinent to their specialties.
